#59 Cash or career?

I always wanted both but it was not meant to be so!

Never mind that!

Let's consider this; you have a current job that you have been doing for the past 10 years!

Started a junior exec and now a decade later, you are still junior exec.

Career wise, shitty; you should have been a manager by now!

Cash wise, witty, job pays well and you are now well into the senior exec territory!

Life goes on and you are thinking, some managers out there are getting paid not even a fraction of what I get!

Life's great so they say, until a certain something or somebody give you a stirring deep inside you.

Life's not so great;

1. when others questioned why you are still a junior exec
2. when your capability are questioned
3. when you value to the company is questioned

Life's even worse;

1. when you find out your resumes are just at best mediocre
2. when you realize you are already touching the ceiling of a junior exec
3. when you realize Jobstreet are sending you jobs out of reach!

Life's taking a turn for the worst;

1. when you realize you being singled out as being non-performing
2. when you finally realized you have been doing the same job the past decade
3. when your senior is in fact your junior!
